2008.Chapter one · The beginning
Where it all began.
Efficacy Development Plc. is a leading Real Estate, Building Construction and Engineering Company based in Lagos Nigeria with over seventeen years of providing exceptional service in the real estate development and construction sphere. Through its productive journey of over seventeen years, the Company has relentlessly grown to be committed to meeting and satisfying one of the most fundamental desires on the hierarchy of human needs, Shelter.
A feat we have achieved through persistent accountability, excellence, reliability, and efficiency since conception.
In 2008, the business started as Efficacy Homes Ltd and it has since grown and recorded great success and achievements as evidently shown and proven which has also reflected in its managerial structure and renowned customer-centric culture in alignment with its vision, mission, and core values.
The Company was incorporated as Efficacy Homes Limited on the 8th of August 2008 and began full operations in January 2009, afterward, the name of the Company was later changed from Efficacy Homes Limited to Efficacy Construction Company Limited on the 9th of December 2016. On the 4th of November 2024, the Company became a Public Limited Company named Efficacy Development Plc with more shareholders, corporate governance structure and experienced board.

Signed our first joint venture development partnership.

A new name for bigger work.
Renamed Efficacy Construction Company Limited, and made construction a core, institutional capability.

Beyond the building line.
Delivered road construction, drainage and land reclamation contracts.
- 2019–2022Land banking
Ground for the future.
Began land banking: now 248 hectares across Lagos, Ogun, Abuja, Rivers and Osun. Signed our first MOU with a state government, on water treatment and distribution.
- 2022–2026Governance & credit rating
Stronger at the top.
Became Efficacy Development Plc, expanded the board from 2 to 9 directors and earned an upgraded A- rating.
